Let your 991.2 GT3 breathe. Our full intake kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox and 82mm throttle body with the Dundon Dual Reverse Cone Airbox, Dundon Center Plenum and 93mm throttle body: more air flow, more capacity, and more of that intake sound.

In testing the 991.2 GT3 and RS we found the air intake to be restrictive. The airbox is shared with the 991.1 Carrera S, and the 82mm throttle body has been the same since the 996 GT3. Neither of those is a 500 hp car. We measure the restriction by comparing atmospheric pressure outside the plenum to the pressure inside. Ideally there is no difference. This kit reduces pressure losses from about 0.6 psi to 0.1 psi.

By reducing the pressure losses in the intake and allowing a more free flow into the engine, the engine makes power two ways. First, less engine power is used overcoming the parasitic losses of the stock intake tract. Second, we're able to get more high-pressure air to the intake valve to cram more air into the cylinder. Both translate into more power, and on a car that uses ram air to its advantage (scoops on the decklid), the gains are more than can be measured on a static dyno.

Kit includes:

• Dundon Dual Reverse Cone Airbox: 4.96 sq ft of filter area versus 1.77 sq ft stock, 280% more, so air moves more slowly through the filters with less pressure drop across the element
• Dundon Center Plenum
• 93mm throttle body, 28.6% more area than the factory 82mm unit, with adapter harness

On a car already running our Street Headers, the intake kit adds roughly 10 to 15 whp and up to 10 lb-ft at the wheels. Headers and intake together make up our 991.2 GT3 D3 Power Package: up to 47 lb-ft and 38 whp on PDK cars, 53 lb-ft and 31 whp on manuals, with peak output over 473 whp.
