TAG Motorsports is pleased to offer the Eventuri Carbon Fiber Intake System for VW Golf MK7 / MK7.5 GTI / R and Audi 8V S3 (2015-2021).
The Eventuri VAG 2.0TFSI Carbon Intake System replaces the factory airbox with a patented carbon fiber Venturi housing, a high-flow double-cone filter, and a dedicated cold air duct. Developed for the EA888 2.0 TFSI platform, the system is designed to reduce intake restriction while improving the delivery of ambient air to the turbocharger.
Eventuri publishes performance gains of 16 to 25 horsepower and 15 to 22 ft-lb for this system. Separately, BR Performance in Belgium independently tested the intake on a Stage 1 tuned Golf and recorded a 19 horsepower increase on their in-house dyno.
The pre-preg carbon fiber housing incorporates a reverse-mounted double-cone filter and a tapered internal profile designed to provide a more efficient airflow path toward the factory turbo inlet tube. An aluminum cowl helps guide airflow into the housing.
A dedicated carbon fiber duct supplies air from the front of the vehicle. On Golf applications, a grille-mounted scoop provides a direct ambient air feed. Eventuri evaluated both single-duct and double-duct configurations during development, ultimately selecting the single-duct design based on dyno testing.
The system incorporates laser-cut stainless steel mounting brackets and retains the factory turbo inlet tube and vacuum/boost connection.
