GIAC Audi S4 B8 Performance Software for B8S4 3.0T Engine

GIAC Stage 1 software calibrations, compatible with factory exhaust and intakes, are now available for the Audi S4 and S5 3.0T FSI. This software calibration offers dramatic improvements over the factory software. Special thanks to all of our beta test cars for providing GIAC with great data and feedback prior to the software release. With our 6 car beta test program, we were able to ensure the 3.0T FSI software was rock solid in various temperatures, octanes and elevations, whether on the street, strip, or track. Audi has truly brought back the heart of the S cars with this 3.0T power plant. We are excited to be tuning such a strong engine and we will keep you updated as our product line for S4 applications grows.

• Improved wheel horsepower and torque gains at 65-90 hp & 30-40 ft lbs of torque, on 91 octane fuel. 
• Estimated wheel gains as high as 105 horsepower and 79 ft. /lbs. of torque in some areas of the power band. 
• Properly recalibrated Air/Fuel Ratios. 
• Improved throttle response for a drive-by-cable system feel.
• Raised speed limiters to factory redline in final drive gear

• Initial flash must be bench flashed. All flashing updates after that can be performed through the OBD2 port.

G.I.A.C. is a software engineering company with two decades of experience tuning cars. They are known for creating "factory smooth" performance software with exceptional power and reliability.

Their software replaces the standard software in your car’s engine control unit. It is programmed to adjust ignition timing, fuel delivery, fuel metering, boost settings, rev limiters, and/or speed limiters to optimize performance and, in some applications, fuel economy.

Performance-tuned programs are designed to dramatically increase torque and HP without sacrificing smooth drivability. Many programs are also created to accommodate numerous after market performance modifications.

What They Do

G.I.A.C.s development team employs proprietary G.I.A.C. software and a variety of debuggers, emulators and scopes to tackle the most complex tuning problems. Their dedicated research facility in Irvine, CA houses a 4WD Mustang Dynamometer and state of the art tools for developing and testing software. Expertise in software and circuit design, combined with an understanding of embedded technology, enable them to offer a broad range of tuning solutions.

The G.I.A.C. Upgrade Policy

G.I.A.C. will provide free lifetime upgrades to original G.I.A.C. software customers. Upgrades apply to current versions of the same type of software. There are no upgrade paths for certain software, such as for larger turbo packages. However, we do have discounts available for all G.I.A.C. software users when purchasing a complete larger turbo kit from us.
