THE HRE VINTAGE 517

The most exotic sports and race cars of the 1970s and ‘80s always came with the most gorgeous and identifiable wheels of the day. The HRE Vintage Series is meant to evoke the finest designs of that era and offer styles fitting for not only sports cars and exotic GTs but also performance sedans, SUVs and Off-Roaders.

Whether for an original Porsche or a reimagined one, the details are everything on the Vintage 517. This race-inspired 5-spoke exudes purpose with a deep spoke cross section and delicious simplicity. The back of the wheel highlights the aggressive weight savings while maintaining structural integrity for use on today’s high-performance tribute cars.

In addition to the standard HRE caps, an optional billet aluminum hex nut cap is available in most HRE powder coat colors (excluding brushed finishes). And for the purist, we’ve added an OEM Porsche cap bore option (aluminum cap not included). Please specify cap style preference when ordering.

Construction: Available as a 2-Piece forged wheel with HRE's FMR-X® one-piece forged barrel, or as a traditional 3-Piece forged wheel.

BARREL LIP PROFILES

FMR-X® barrels are available in two lip profile options: Round Lip, and Flange Lip. The Round Lip matches the profile of traditional 3-Piece lips found on modular wheels with a more broad highlight. The Flange Lip emulates a motorsport look from traditional 3-Piece lips giving a more lightweight visual look with smaller highlights.

CUSTOM COLORS & MULTI-PIECE FINISHES

See HRE's Standard and Optional Transparent Color options below, and select your wheel center and barrel finishes above. For 3-Piece wheels, choose your Outer (lip) and Inner barrel finishes. For 2-Piece FMR-X® wheels, choose your FMR-X® barrel finish. Color choices will be finalized after purchase.
