KW V5 Coilover System:

The all new V5 coilover also features precise 4 way dampening adjustment capabilities.

When you're looking to lower and improve your vehicle's suspension, having rebound and compression adjustment is great. But having the ability to fine-tune your suspension movements at different speeds is even better.

KW took the V5 coilover to a whole new level with high speed and low speed tunability. High speed refers to suspension travel and events that the coilover itself experiences very quickly such as a sharp corner or a hard launch from a stop. Low speed events refer to suspension movements that happen at a slower, more gradual pace such as large sweeping corners or gradual acceleration.

Having the ability to adjust high and low speed suspension dampening independently gives you unprecedented handling, performance, and control. This means every acceleration, steering movement, or braking event is tunable and precise.

Special Edition Available with Red & Blue Springs to match the centerlock lugs on the Porsche Carrera GT (980)

Lowering:

Front Lowering:    0.0" to 0.4"
Rear Lowering:    0.0" to 0.4"

V5 Notes:

Height adjustable on the front and rear axles (threaded strut housings)

Variant 5 struts / dampers made of aluminum or kit is a combination of aluminum and stainless steel per axle

Valving is adjusted by adjustment knobs, rebound is only adjustable if the top of the piston rod is accessible. This will depend on the design of the vehicle.

KW HLS: Hydraulic Lift System

HLS is available in two configurations, but for the Porsche Carrera GT only the HLS 4 is available. The HLS 4 Lift System can be attached to the front and rear axles and allows lifting of the entire vehicle. The hydraulic cylinder unit is located on the coilover body between the spring perch and spring. This allows for a mechanical advantage as there is no compression of the extended cylinder unit resulting in no unwanted additional suspension movement while driving.

Allows cars with low ground clearance to clear obstacles more easily.

Available as a complete kit including coilovers or as a conversion for existing coilover kit owners.

Activated from inside the vehicle via a LED position control switch.

Can be activated while driving (up to 50mph)
