All e-tron GT models are detuned from the factory leaving plenty of power on the table.  MapEV has developed the technology to unleash the missing performance while maintaining all factory safety safeguards. MapEV provides a new powertrain control module featuring their tune that is specific to your e-tron GT model that gives it maximum safe power output, improved throttle response, optimized shift points and removes the top speed limiter.

Power Increase - Each e-tron GT model will have substantial power gains. Along with these power gains the tuning puts the motor controllers into launch mode at wide open throttle even during normal driving. This also stiffens the suspension and the traction control is adjusted for optimal acceleration. The full power of your electric motors are always waiting for your right foot.

Safety Measures - Only the artificial commercial limitations in the powertrain control module are altered. The electric motor controllers and the battery controller are not modified in any way and their output never exceeds the factory rated maximum safety parameters. The limitations of the thermal envelope also remain fully intact.

Throttle Response - MapEV enables and calibrates "filter deactivation with pre-tensioned drivetrain" which, as long as there is sufficient forward torque on the powertrain, allows bypassing the filtering whenever the driver performs sudden throttle movements.

This means much sharper and less delayed throttle response during spirited driving without affecting the carefully crafted refinement of the vehicle or placing undue stress on the powertrain.

Optimized Shift Points - The shift points in the transmission have been optimized in all modes to provide consistent power delivery allowing for the largest possible area under the curve.

Top Speed Limiter - The top speed limitation has been removed and the maximum speed is governed only by the maximum RPM of the electric motors which is a whopping ~168mph (270kph).

Updatable - The new tuned module is remotely updatable using a Windows PC and ENET cable should there be any changes to your preferences or in the unlikely case that a software update is required. Updates can be performed from the comfort of your home with purchase of the ENET cable.

Swappable - The control module is easily swappable at any time after removal of several trunk interior trim panels. Your original control module is not modified so this can be swapped in for any needed reason. Fitment of the factory control unit is highly recommended for dealership visits.

Do It Yourself - Simply purchase the power module with an ENET interface (or supply your own). The ENET interface with USB adapter will be shipped to you. Download the MapEV Diag software, install, launch and read your ASG info. This sends the needed information to MapEV to produce your power module. Once that is completed your power module will be on the way to you to install!
