Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider on HRE 305 Forged Wheels with Novitec Upgrades | TAG MOTORSPORTS

A customer's Black Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider, with wheels, exhaust and suspension from TAG Motorsports.

The 12Cilindri Spider is Ferrari's front-engine V12 grand tourer at its best: a naturally aspirated V12 up front, a folding hardtop, and long, clean lines that look great with the top up or down. This one is finished in black with a yellow interior, yellow calipers and yellow Ferrari shields, a combination that already had a lot of attitude. The owner, a client of ours in Nevada, wanted a classic Ferrari look on the wheels, a V12 soundtrack to match, and a stance that sits just right. We put the full package together and shipped it out, and the owner was kind enough to send us these photos of the finished car.

21/22" HRE 305 Forged Wheels

The owner chose the HRE 305 in 21" front and 22" rear. Its five-spoke design is a modern take on the classic Ferrari wheel, and it fits the 12Cilindri's retro-inspired styling perfectly. The faces are finished in Polished Dark Clear with brushed lips, a smoky tone that works with the black paint and lets the yellow calipers pop through the spokes. They're wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires (F: 275/30ZR21 | R: 335/25ZR22), and we finished them with TAG Ceramic Coated Wheel Protection before they left our shop.

Novitec Race Exhaust, X-Pipe and Switchtronic

A V12 deserves to be heard, so the owner added the Novitec Race Exhaust System with flaps and black tailpipes, along with the Novitec X-Pipe. The black tips tuck neatly into the rear diffuser, and the flaps let the car stay civilized around town and open up when the mood strikes. The Novitec Switchtronic Valve Controller puts the flaps under the driver's control at the push of a button.

Novitec Sport Springs

To finish the stance, the owner added Novitec Sport Springs. They bring the car down and tighten up the wheel gap so the 21/22" HREs fill the arches properly, while keeping the ride comfortable enough for long drives.

Wheel Details

A closer look at the brushed lips and the HRE Billet Cap Adaptor, which lets the owner keep the factory yellow Ferrari center caps. It's a small detail, but it ties the wheels back to the calipers, shields and interior.

The Finished Car
